Lanterna Mágica – International Animation Festival, led by Camila Nunes and Baloo Filmes, returns in its 6th edition from March 19 to 24, 2024, at CineX, in
Goiânia, Goiás.
The festival stands out for its diverse programming, including competitive and non-competitive exhibitions, the Lanterna Film Market for industry professionals, and the Lanterna Educa for education and training.
The selected films undergo rigorous curation and are awarded by jurors and the public.
The event promotes the Brazilian and global animation market, boosting the local and international scene.

“Ninety-five senses”, by Jerusha Hess and Jared Hess (USA), and “A kind of testament”, by Stephen Vuillemin (FRA), tied for Best Film according to the Popular Jury in the International Competition.
Finally, the Press Award recognized “Ninety-Five Senses”, by Jerusha Hess and Jared Hess (USA), as Best Short Film in the International Competitive Show
and “O Cacto”, by Ricardo Kump (SP), as the Best Short in the National Competition.
